On the road again... Starting to get busy
I'm finally getting back to work. I got a call the other day and had an overnight emergency job at the Cape Canaveral Plant. I'm currently near Indiantown, FL at the Martin Power Plant for a couple days and I have to be in southern Mississippi Friday morning. Looks like I'll be there for a while. Unfortunately this job will be nothing exciting or really interesting since I'm just babysitting a plant while the general tries to find a permanent CPM for the site.
I have been enjoying my time off but am really glad to be working again. I've had my fill of volunteer work for the American Legion for a while. Not that I mind the volunteer work but cooking wings for a day or striping the parking lot or hanging signs, etc is not my idea of a challenge (I do make damn good wings though).
We've been on a few good rides over the past month. Most recently we went on the Budweiser Charity Run with maybe 1,000 bikes. That was a bit much as all the stops were overwhelmed but it was for a good cause and I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen for a while. In previous weeks we went on a big inland loop around central FL and took a nice coastal run up to St. Augustine.

glad to see you are off welfare and back in the work force. hahaha. zac has been home over 2 months and is leaving for Algeria (another hot spot) on Thursday - if his visa arrives. he needs to get back to work - spends toooo much money when he is idle and playing. now i can get back to blogging regularly. take care.
Hey it's Nov. 12th and you have been MISSING IN ACTION. Zac is in Zotti, Algeria (arrived there yesterday (or day before). He is miserable, because there is no technology there for him, i.e, no internet, no cell, ruh roh - TRAGEDY. He is hoping to be home for Christmas, so we will see. What's up with you? If you lived up here you wouldn't be on your bike - tooooo cold!!
